She brings dual expertise in science and business as well as broad experience in several technical disciplines to her overarching role as an innovative growth leader associated with technology commercialization and IP management. Her primary areas of focus are Health and Medical Devices, Genomics and BioSecurity, as well as Energy and Environment.

Barbur’s work also includes streamlining the process for securing Intellectual Property and Licensing to allow external organizations and companies to put innovation to use quickly as well as developing collaborative and strategic partnerships through University/Academic Institutions, Innovation Bridges, Tech Hubs, Accelerators and Incubators. Previously, Barbur was Senior Vice President and Chief Technical Officer for Concurrent Technologies Corporation and Vice President, Research & Development for Cardinal Health. In October 2016, she joined The MITRE Corporation supporting the Technology Transfer Office. Barbur earned a PhD and BSc in physics from Imperial College, University of London, and a MSc in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford, both in the UK.

Ben’s role is to drive innovative products, solutions and processes that fundamentally change the markets Snap-on serves and enhance customer perception of its brands. Ben has helped to create, support and institutionalize a culture at Snap-on that embraces creativity, risk, change and fearless innovation. In early 2009 Ben launched Innovation Works! – a physical center for innovation at Snap-on’s office in Kenosha Wisconsin. Prior to joining Snap-on, Ben spent 4 years in Marketing at PepsiCo, most recently as the Director of Innovation for the Frito-Lay Convenience Foods division. At PepsiCo he also led innovation as Director of Innovation for Tropicana and prior to that as Director of Innovation for Shelf Stable Beverages. Before joining PepsiCo, Ben was Marketing Director of New Products at Kraft Foods. He spent over 14 years at Kraft Foods, starting as a Research Scientist in Biotechnology and working in various roles with increasing responsibility and scope across R&D and Marketing. Ben has over 20 years of experience focused on new product development, marketing and innovation. Ben is a recognized expert in innovation and an expert at facilitating ideation sessions and customer interviews. Ben holds a Bachelors degree in Biology and a Masters degree in Microbial Genetics from the University of Nebraska. He was awarded a fellowship in Biotechnology from the National Academy of Sciences and received a Ph.D, in Food Science and Nutrition with an emphasis in Molecular Genetics from the University of Massachusetts. He is an active runner, cyclist and triathlete.

Prior to that, John was Senior Vice President at GE Capital where he managed all aspects of a $900 million international energy portfolio of equity investments in Europe and the Middle East. While at GE Capital, he also served as Vice President, Operational Risk, managed GE’s venture capital portfolio, and represented GE on boards in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Before joining GE, John worked for leading energy companies NextEra Energy Resources, Duke Energy, and Enron. He also taught kindergarten in St. Petersburg, Russia, and high school English in Warsaw, Poland. John received a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and International Affairs from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. His hobbies are wide-ranging: John is a marathon runner, traveler, bibliophile and unexceptional golfer.

Tom was also part of the team responsible for establishing the vision of Yokogawa’s Advanced Decision Support solutions that help improve operators’ situational awareness and effectiveness and contributes. Prior to Yokogawa, Dr. Fiske worked for Aspen Technologies as a Product Manager for Economic Evaluation of Capital Projects. Dr. Fiske spent more than a dozen years with ARC Advisory Group as an internationally recognized analyst in the areas simulation, APC, optimization, advanced analytics, energy management, MES, knowledge management, and operator situation awareness. Dr. Fiske is a graduate of Stevens Institute of Technology with a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering. Rasha Hasaneen

Having worked in both industrial and software industries, she is uniquely positioned to combine industrial products with software solutions and leverage technology in innovative ways to deliver value to our customers.

Rasha is currently the Vice President – Product Management Excellence and Innovation at Ingersoll Rand.  She is responsible for driving functional excellence and building capability in product management across all of IR’s strategic business units as well as incubating and accelerating innovation across the company.

Rasha joined IR from GE where she was most recently, the Vice President – Digital Products for Gas Power Systems within GE Power where she built a $200M+ digital business for new units within a couple of years and worked across the ecosystem to deliver digital solutions that add value to customers and drive value for GE internally.  Prior to this role, Rasha was the Integrated Business Planning leader for the Drilling Business within GE Oil & Gas, where she established and ran the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, which drove down inventory by $20M and improved inventory turns by 0.3. This included developing a process for strategic inventory and risk release/pre-provisioning to ensure inventory on the ground was strategic to the business; reducing overdue backlog from $217M to $67M; and improving factory output across all product families by 60% on average.  She also led the team responsible for transforming the Drilling customer digital experience supporting over 1200 active users and resulting in over 8000 weeks of cycle reduction for GE customers and $5.0MM in productivity gains for the business.  In addition, digital platform processed over 2,500 quotes per month, supported over $11M in spare parts orders and drove 50% of parts order volume and 80% of parts revenue in a touchless model.

Prior to that, Rasha was a Corporate Initiatives Director and business partner for GE Oil & Gas and Energy Management where she supported process improvement projects responsible for over $1.7B in top line and $600M in bottom line impact for the businesses.  Working with the businesses, Rasha helped drive change across all business processes leveraging the Lean – Six Sigma toolkit.  She also supported process improvement and best practices related to Commercial Excellence across GE establishing and launching the Global Accounts process across GE and worked with the newly formed supply chain council on the global multi-modal strategy for the company.

Rasha joined GE in April 2011, from SAP, where she was most recently Vice President – Business Suite Go-to-Market in the Solution Management team.  In this role, she was responsible for bringing together products and services to deliver integrated solutions to SAP’s customers.  She worked with the Solution Management and Solution Marketing leadership teams to transform the way SAP commercializes its solutions across multiple customer segments and drive cross product adoption.  Prior to this role she held multiple engineering, product management, product marketing and corporate strategy leadership positions at SAP, Hitachi Data Systems, Lucent Technologies and General Motors where she consistently leveraged both her technical and business background, in both industrial and software businesses, to bridge the gap between market expectations and technology solutions in these engineering driven companies.

Rasha graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and Management from McMaster University in Ontario, Canada and received a Master’s degree from Stanford University in Industrial Engineering & Engineering Management.  She has a Doctorate in Engineering at Texas A&M with a focus on the intersection of technology, business and public policy in the adoption of new technology impacting environmental issues in the energy industry.

Prior to her role as secretary, Dr. Murphy served as director of the State Innovation Models Initiative at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services leading a $990 million CMS investment designed to accelerate health care innovation across the United States. She previously served as president and chief executive officer of the Moses Taylor Health Care System in Scranton, and as founder and chief executive officer of Physicians Health Alliance, Inc., an integrated medical group practice within Moses Taylor. Dr. Murphy earned her doctor of philosophy in business administration from the Temple University Fox School of Business. She holds a masters of business administration from Marywood University, a bachelor of science in liberal arts from the University of Scranton, and a diploma in nursing from the Scranton State Hospital School of Nursing. An author and national speaker on health policy and innovation, Dr. Murphy also serves as a clinical faculty member at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. an associate of the department of Health Policy and Management! at Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. As chief innovation officer, Dr. Murphy leads Geisinger’s deep commitment to innovation, one of the organization’s four principle values along with kindness, excellence and learning to fulfill the mission of caring. Ali joined the company two years ago as the President of Dover Energy Automation; after the spinoff in May 2018, he has expanded his role across Apergy. Prior to joining Dover, Ali served as a Vice President and General Manager of Honeywell Advanced Solutions business in Honeywell Process Solutions. He served in multiple leadership positions with Honeywell managing global Honeywell businesses in different capacities.

Before joining Honeywell, Ali served as a services director at Aspen Technology for 7 years. He started his career with Caltex Petroleum Corporation in Pakistan in 1992. Ali has been working in the oil and gas industry for more than 25 years. Ali has a Master’s of Science degree in Computer Systems and Controls Engineering from Michigan and a Bachelor’s of Engineering from Karachi Pakistan. He is currently serving on the advisory board for the University of Houston College of Engineering. Ali is a Six Sigma Green Belt Certified.

Current national and regional partnerships under management include IoT technology, connected home, and digital partner channels, as well as a variety of service provider relationships. Wajsgras’ experience includes 20 years of business and channel development with several leading companies including Sprint Nextel, MCI, and Qwest, as well as several start-up ventures. While at Sprint Nextel, he managed a national sales and support organization focused on implementing custom wireless network solutions for the firms’ largest commercial and public sector customers. Prior to that, as the founding member of the Competitive Local Services team, Mr. Wajsgras successfully launched the competitive local telecom services for Qwest/LCI International, a business that grew to a run rate of over $100M in annual revenue. He began his career as an auditor at Ernst & Young.

Working in the automotive body development area within Honda R&D Americas for more than 20 years, Matt Wolfe has held nearly every position within the Division.

Beginning his career developing body structure components for the Acura MDX, TLX and Honda Element, he then moved on to manage development teams such as the Acura ZDX as the Body Project Lead. Upon completion of these team management roles, he moved into a Technical Leader role, responsible for the Body technical content of all developed models. In parallel with this technical role, he also completed assignments as both the Underbody Design Manager and the Senior Manager of Body & Exterior Development as a Chief Engineer. He now has final responsibility for the Body & Exterior Division. As Division Director of the largest Division inside Honda R&D, he is responsible for the development of all North American designed models, development of North American strategies within global Honda R&D, as well as an advanced research and innovation team, studying how Honda will guarantee it’s competitiveness into the future.
