John Cote is the Global Marketing Leader for Measurement & Controls, a $3 billion division of Baker Hughes, a GE company. He also led Strategic Marketing for GE Oil & Gas from 2014-17.

Prior to that, John was Senior Vice President at GE Capital where he managed all aspects of a $900 million international energy portfolio of equity investments in Europe and the Middle East. While at GE Capital, he also served as Vice President, Operational Risk, managed GE’s venture capital portfolio, and represented GE on boards in North America, Europe and the Middle East. Before joining GE, John worked for leading energy companies NextEra Energy Resources, Duke Energy, and Enron. He also taught kindergarten in St. Petersburg, Russia, and high school English in Warsaw, Poland. John received a Bachelor of Arts in Russian and International Affairs from the University of New Hampshire, and a Master of Business Administration from Rice University. His hobbies are wide-ranging: John is a marathon runner, traveler, bibliophile and unexceptional golfer.

Communitech hosts the largest in-house corporate innovation lab space featuring an open-innovation environment and high touch engagement with startups. Prior to his current role, Steve was responsible for the StartUp Services Group at Communitech where 600+ start ups receive coaching and mentoring. During this time, his team launched HYPERDRIVE, an intensive accelerator for high growth startups. Steve has held senior roles in multinationals such as Open Text and Reynolds & Reynolds and startups/emerging companies such as Miovision, Northern Digital Inc and Handshake VR. Areas of responsibility have included Product Management, Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, Business Development. Steve is an active supporter of the community and is a board member of the Grand River Hospital Foundation.

Rodney assumed his current role as Vice President, Strategic Insights Group in January 2014. Rodney guides his team on the use of qualitative and quantitative research and information and its interpretation to uncover unique insights and strategies. Under his leadership, the team identifies and understands the impact of economic, market, industry, regulatory, human capital and competitive activities on our businesses and Company, enabling them to project key indicators and impact to our company. The department is a trusted resource for our businesses and senior leaders. He has a B.A. in Liberal Arts from Austin College and an M.B.A from East Texas State University. He is involved in numerous organizations including serving as a Board member on the Plano Independent School District Educational Foundation, working with the Family Place Dallas and a leadership giver to the United Way. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, golf, reading and entertaining.

He graduated from University of Maryland in the U.S. (Biology/Chemistry) and his first decade of work concentrated on the manufacturing, engineering and commercialization of new products working for various OEMs and design firms. Since then he has worked mostly on the ‘front-end’ of innovation, managing teams in discovery/user research, human-factors, mechanical innovation, concept creation and intellectual property development. He is the holder of 19 U.S. patents with several more pending. With West for 9 years, Chris is now responsible for transformational new product & technology development, focusing on device usability and enhancing the patient experience. He also manages West’s Connected Health Initiative and the resulting partnerships and alliances brought together to assemble a ‘patient engagement ecosystem’.

Much of my time at Analog Devices has dealt with corporate and business unit Strategy – leading a variety of projects aimed at identifying new growth opportunities, business planning, and competitive analysis. Most recently I have been developing and/or updating our strategic planning processes, helping the organization to create a planning process that fits with the highly competitive, dynamic markets that use our products. Given that Analog Devices’ products are used in a wide variety of industries, with very different characteristics, I have had the opportunity to contribute to strategy development for a wide variety of market segments. I am a big believer in the power of understanding an ecosystem (a huge Ron Adner fan) and I am looking forward to learning firsthand from the other members of this group about how their worlds operate.

Prior to joining PAREXEL, she served as Director of Marketing at Smith & Nephew, holding full responsibility for all aspects of the $110M global portfolio for the emerging extremities and limb restoration product line. During her tenure, Donna created and executed all strategic marketing plans for the portfolio, including prioritizing user needs for new product development opportunities. Prior to this role, Donna managed Smith & Nephew’s $135M global product portfolio across the radiofrequency resection and fluid management/access products as well as handheld arthroscopy instruments. Over the course of her career, Donna has held positions of increasing responsibility across marketing and product management as well as in research and development. This path has provided experience in creating market entry strategies to expand into complementary market segments, leading due diligence for acquisitions, and building sustainable relationships with KOLs to support assessment of adjacent markets. Donna earned an MBA in Marketing from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management and a BS in Chemical Engineering from University of Michigan. She’s a member of, and volunteers for, the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association.

I moved to an application engineering role that was more customer facing at my first employer, Sauer-Sundstrand (now Danfoss Fluid Power). Next, I moved into sales and joined my current employer, HydraForce. I was given the opportunity to grow our now largest account from zero and then moved into sales management. I managed a team of regional sales managers who covered our direct OEM business. Then I was tasked with leading and developing our team in Asia Pacific. Finally in 2016 I was promoted to our VP of Sales and Marketing.

Prior to Peratech, Stark was VP of Printed Electronics at MFLEX (NASDAQ: MFLX), where he successfully led multiple new-technology commercialization efforts including the mass-production of a printed touch-display module in a high-end notebook PC that won 14 awards at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2014. During his tenure at MFLEX, Stark also held executive-level positions in and Corporate Strategy and Marketing, when MFLEX was awarded Deloitte’s Fast 50 Technology companies.
Prior to MFLEX, Stark held interim executive and consultative roles in strategy, change management, innovation and communications in a variety of industries including software, portable technologies, mobile communications, banking and healthcare. His previous clients included InterActive Corp, JP Morgan Chase, Virgin Mobile USA, and Jamba Juice.
