Aurimas Adomavicius

Aurimas Adomavicius

President, Devbridge Group

Session : Innovating Digital Customer Engagement and Experience for Competitive Advantage

Ayn Rand wrote “Capitalism demands the best of every man – his rationality – and rewards him accordingly. It leaves every man free to choose the work he likes, to specialize in it, to trade his product for the products of others, and to go as far on the road of achievement as his ability and ambition will carry him.” Atlas Shrugged was one of the most influential books for Aurimas, a first-generation Lithuanian immigrant who to this day sees America as the land of dreams and opportunity.

Full Bio
At 27 years of age, Aurimas and his partners founded Devbridge Group. During the last 10 years and with no outside funding, Aurimas has grown Devbridge Group into a 30-million-dollar technology powerhouse with nearly 300 employees across five global offices. The company builds strategic digital products for clients such as Grainger, kCura, John Deere, Morningstar, Fitch Ratings, Berlin Packaging, Art Institute of Chicago, and several Tier 1 banks in the US and Canada. Aurimas’ attributes his inspiration to found a software design and development company to his parents and upbringing. His mother, an art teacher at the time, used to take Aurimas along to drawing excursions with students twice his age. His dad, a physics professor, built Aurimas his first computer when he was six. An elegant blend of design and science is what stands at the core of the Devbridge brand today. Aurimas’ real passion is a never-ending fight against mediocrity in everything that he or the company does. As a result, Devbridge Group has been recognized by the Inc. 5000 four years running, a National Best and Brightest Company to Work For, Inc’s Best Workplace 2017, and a top employer by Inc. Magazine.

Mei Jiang

Mei Jiang

Head of Pan-HP Innovation Strategy & Chief Editor of HP Journal, HP

Mei Jiang is a tech-savvy, futuristic strategist and entrepreneur with a blend of experience at both Startups and Corporations. Since early 2000s, she has led multiple Startups into accelerated growth and successful exits of a total value of $2 billion. As early as 2001, she created and launched the world’s first and leading B2B e-commerce platform for the semiconductor, equipment, and electronic materials industry.

Full Bio
In 2005, Mei joined an IoT track-n-trace Startup which used RFID technology with built-in sensors to provide real-time GIT (Good-In-Transit) visibility across the globe. The company had a really hard time selling IoT/RFID hardware and was not growing. Mei transformed and reinvented its business model from selling products to providing outcome-based, value-driven managed services (SaaS). Her lighthouse customers included K2 Sports, Metro, Jaguar, Dow Chemical and DoD. It was back in 2005 and she was in IoT before it was an acronym. In 2006, one year later, Lockheed Martin bought this Start-up for a reported $400 million.

The other part of her career has been driving intrapreneurship at large enterprises. She has helped a few corporations drive fundamental technology, business and cultural transformations, including Cisco’s $6 billion channel transformation. Mei started working at HP seven years ago. From 2011 to 2014, she was responsible for $7 billion HP Enterprise Services (HPES) Application & Business Services (ABS) Portfolio, optimizing and managing around 100 annual Apps & Software IP releases in 40 countries. While the traditional ITO part of HPES continued to decline, the ABS business experienced a strong YoY growth since 2011.

Digitization started disrupting the world. In 2014, HP launched its internal Start-up digital incubator. As the early member of the incubator, she leads Pan-HP Innovation Strategy and has had an opportunity to shape the change, drive new business models, execute on it and make a profound impact on the future of HP. She orchestrates company-wide strategic initiatives in the areas of IoT, 3D Transformation, Hyper Mobility and Immersive Experience.

Mei is also the Editor-In-Chief for HP Innovation Journal, a celebration of HP’s culture of continuous innovation and amazing engineering—blending the heart and energy of a startup with the brains and muscle of a Fortune 50 company. Today the journal is distributed to more than three millions of HP partners and customers in nearly 200 countries and over 20 languages.
